barrett martin
duff mckagan
jeff angell
+ mike mccready

nuovo gruppo a seattle

"Walking Papers is a new blues-rock band formed by Jeff Angell and Barrett Martin, two long-serving veterans of the Seattle music scene. Jeff previously sang and played guitar for the bands Post Stardom Depression and The Missionary Position, and Barrett, a drummer and multi-instrumentalist, played for grunge pioneers Skin Yard and Screaming Trees, as well as the super groups Mad Season and Tuatara…

This debut album features a stellar cast of additional musicians who have each added their unique musical voice to the album: Visceral bass lines from Duff McKagan (Guns & Roses, Velvet Revolver), blistering guitar solos from Mike McCready (Pearl Jam, Mad Season), elegant keyboard stylings from Benjamin Anderson, and soulful horn arrangements from Dave Carter (Trumpet), Dan Spalding (Baritone Sax), and Ed Ulman (Trombone). The album was recorded by Catherine Ferrante at Avast Studios in Seattle, and mixed by Jack Endino at Soundhouse in Seattle. Mastering was done by Chris Hanzsek at Hanzsek Audio. The album will be released on October 2, 2012."

Hail Hail, Who Are You, in My Tree e Smile sono quelle che avrei messo io avessi potuto ... Tutte di fila, come nell'album... Bella la scelta di Glorified G.

Former Mad Season/Screaming Trees drummer Barrett Martin was interviewed on Jet City Stream Radio for the Walking Papers premiere, and mentioned that Mad Season are preparing to release a box set featuring their already released material along with some new songs featuring Mark Lanegan on vocals. These are the songs from the band’s late 90′s recording sessions, with new vocals from Lanegan.

da che pulpito, ma tuttavia ha ragione:

Billy Corgan: la reunion dei Soundgarden è about money and nostalgia

“Blood on the Valley Floor” e “A Thousand Days Before" possibili singoli dal nuovo album dei Soundgarden. Esce il 13 novembre, probabilmente omonimo

Fino all'estate prossima siamo pieni: Soundgarden, Mad Season e Pearl Jam. Attendo il colpo di scena di Cantrell.

Li attendiamo tutti così:
