Domanda esistenziale sul 2010, perchè i Radio Dept continuano a non esguagliare manco minimamente il loro esordio "Lesser Matters"? Ho bisogno di nuove orecchie o sono un po' gli Interpol svedesi?

Ti dirò, l'ultimo lo sto apprezzando forse ancora più dei precedenti. Pezzi con strutture e melodie così a fuoco non li trovo in Lesser Matters, che pure adoro per altri motivi. Credo che Clinging to a Scheme sia un album riuscito.

Parata di ospiti per il ritorno di Bryan Ferry

Bryan Ferry has announced plans to release a new solo album featuring star studded guest collaborations with members of Radiohead, Primal Scream, Scissor Sisters and Groove Armada.

The record, 'Olympia', also sees the star teaming up with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, Nile Rogers and Marcus Miller. Radiohead are represented by Jonny Greenwood and Primal Scream by Mani.

It is the first album since 1973 to reunite Ferry with members of his band Roxy Music too, including guitarist Phil Manzanera, saxophonist Andy Mackay and Brian Eno.

Non so se vi ricordate di Subheim, ma esce il nuovo disco a ottobre, pare.

No Land Called Home" is the name of Subheim's sophomore full length effort. The project led by currently Athens-based Kostas K. has made some waves (in both senses of the word) with a first album published by Tympanik Audio in 2008. The new one ups the ante of this sharply produced atmospheric material, is a work to be reckoned with, and should open many doors to this very promising young act and his dystopian ambiences.

Io ero uscito un po' addormentato dall'ascolto di quel disco. L'atmospheric material ormai o lo si associa a qualcosa di più concreto (dubstep, deep house, no idm e no glitch che mi sono rotto), o non riesco più a reggerlo.

Anche per me vale il tuo discorso, ma questo di Subheim mi era piaciuto fin da subito

Anche a me non dispiacque, nonostante momenti à la Robert Miles.

Grandissimo, io invece quel disco lo ascolto ancora... mi piace un sacco e a sentire questa roba nuova sopra mi sa che fa il bis
