misà che Howerdel campa e camperà ancora sulle royaltes della Virgin...e pure bene. L'uscita ufficiale dalle scene,e i lunghi periodi di silenzio,ci hanno fatto dimenticare di quanto siano stati famosi gli APC per un brevissimo lasso di tempo.

Una meteora brillantissima,partita a gonfie vele senza gavette varie (definito all'epoca un supergroup), e finita,in fin dei conti,nel miglior modo possibile,con "risoluzione consensuale" degli impegni. Un decorso che ogni band sogna.

sicuramente ci campa, però guarda che campare in America e in California in particolare, con lo stile di vita americano, fai in poco tempo a bruciarti tutto. Sono cifre che noi manco immaginiamo tra istruzione, sanità, tasse sulla casa e sui profitti.

With the announcement of Tool’s forthcoming US tour, it raises the question: Might an album announcement soon follow? In a new interview with Rolling Stone, guitarist Adam Jones revealed that while the band remains hard at work on a new record, they’re still a ways away from finishing it. The impending tour is being used as a “little break” from writing, Jones explained.

Nevertheless, Jones described the sessions as “wonderful,” adding, “Things are really flowing and going really well, and I’m just blown away at the stuff that’s coming together. I’m excited and can’t wait for it to be done. It’s something I’ve been missing for a long time [laughs], that beautiful collaboration that we have because we’re all so different and have different tastes. But again, when you are all meeting in the middle and that thing you do that meets in the middle is just beautiful, it’s very rewarding. So yes, I’m very happy.”

Jones said the band has 20 potential song ideas, which they’ve shared with frontman Maynard James Keenan via FTP and Dropbox. Jones added that Keenan has even written some lyrics, “but until the song’s done and he knows how the end is, he’s still figuring out the flow.”

During a Halloween show in Tempe, Arizona last month, Tool debuted an instrumental called “Descending”. Jones confirmed that it was a shortened version of an “amazing” new song that clocks in between 13 and 14 minutes.

Here's the thing: We get interviewed by journalists all the time, and I've known Maynard a long time, and he can be not the most patient guy and he can be very sarcastic, especially when you have some dipshit journalist asking you stupid questions or trying to trick you into answering something. Or maybe they've written an article about you that wasn't favorable and now they're interviewing you again. I'd rather you talk to him about it, but we all know that the stuff he does outside of Tool he wants it to be just as important as Tool, and the Tool fans are the main people who support that. And the Tool fans are the ones who made the other opportunities happen for him. So I don't know why the fuck he would say something like that. But I do know he would be joking or he would say something really sarcastic if he wasn't liking the interviewer or if it's a joke taken out of context.
