Team Sleep is back, having re-worked the songs on the self-titled into The Woodstock Sessions. It's a live record played in front of a studio audience that has the band playing expanded versions of songs from the self-titled. It has the band look back at a record they wrote ten years ago, and lets them augment the songs into new pieces that stand on their own. It embodies all the emotion of being in a small room with others watching on.

qualcuno lo ha ascoltato?
l'album dei Team Sleep era da 6,5/7 all'epoca, non l'ho più riascoltato.
Era uno di quei casi in cui veramente "i demo erano meglio"



un altro caso dei demo erano meglio fu pure Peeping Tom di Patton, e l'album degli Zwan!

Io ho un paio di canzoni in vari mixtape (vabbè, CD da macchina) per il resto album piacevole con due-tre episodi ottimi.

Sto ascoltando il disco live. Risentire certe canzoni che ho consumato tanti anni fa dopo così tanto tempo mi scioglie. Pure gli inediti non sembrano affatto male...

“The heavier stuff is a little faster, and the more quaint stuff is a little more lush. It’s extreme in both directions. It’s not happy-sounding. We’ve been enjoying our lives and it’s not coming from a place of anger, or depression, or anything like that. But there’s darker content on it. Where I think our last couple of records were a little bit more optimistic sounding, this record is a little more dreary in parts.”

Carpenter ha detto 8 aprile per il disco nuovo.
Visto il recente stato di forma dei ragazzi, la curiosità è tanta.

Non vedo l'ora, un album darker rispetto a Koi No Yokan potrebbe essere una cosa stratosferica.

la formula giusta è quella di Koi No Yokan... più dark... anche l'omonimo è più dark di White Pony

scherzi a parte,alla fine è naturale che ci sia un lato dark,altrimenti rock e derivati non avrebbero senso.
