Io ci sono, da grande appassionato e cultore di tutta la musica black dal passato alle robe moderne, magari ognuno puo fare una lista di "pietre miliari", ed i piu citati vengono inseriti nel listone finale, ovviamente per una classifica "all time" 100 album sono abbastanza pochi, io gia nella mia lista della decade degli anni '10 ho fatto fatica ed ho escluso il rap altrimenti troppe cose venivano tenute fuori.
Magari con il contributo di quelli che sono piu ferrati sull'argomento si puo fare un mega listone top 200/300.

Alla luce dei recenti episodi comunque pensavo ad un altro tipo di classifica, quella dei migliori e piu importanti album o canzoni impegnate e di protesta che sono state espresse in ambito black, dal jazz al rap, sarebbe interessante

Ovviamente non sono presenti nomi fondamentali tipo Ray Charles, che non ha un vero e proprio album iconico, come anche per leggende del jazz come Duke Ellington o Dizzy Gillespie, stesso discorso per il blues che è un pò la fonte del "tutto" in cui però di solito la gente si aggrappa a compilation ed antologie di vario tipo, infine ci sarebbe da togliere un po di album rap per rendere la classifica finale meno sbilanciata, su 200 album totali 100 sono solo di rap

mah sono crossover, non credo che hanno requisiti sufficienti per essere nella categoria, perche poi ci sarebbero anche i Rage against the machine da inserire assolutamente.
Comunque uscendo dal perimetro statunitense c'è anche il reggae che è appieno musica "black", e siccome ho inserito l'afrobeat con Fela Kuti bisognerebbe inglobare anche il buon Bob Marley.
Infine c'è il gospel, di cui non ho particolari conoscenze discografiche che pero sarebbe lecito rappresentare e poi la disco music, che ha la sua dignità pensando a tutta l'influenza che ha avuto sulla musica dance/elettronica ed in particolare sulla french house, senza gli Chic non ci sarebbero stati i Daft Punk

Complimenti davvero per la bellissima lista, ho molto da recuperare.
Purtroppo come dici tu per il blues (e anche per il primo jazz) è difficile inserire qualcosa in una classifica di questo tipo appunto perchè il fornmato "album" non era contemplato, anzi nemmeno esisteva. All'epoca si scrivevano più che altro brani o incisioni di pochi brani.

Già, per questo l'ho chiesto, anche se i RATM sono più rock.

So che nel reggae ci sono dischi difficili da ascoltare se si va oltre i nomi più famosi; io provai anni fa ad esplorarli usando Scaruffi. Non è un genere di sole canzonette.
