Gran bella recensione, complimenti!

E comunque qualche spolverata di Melvins, Faith No More\Tomahawk si sente. Non ne avrei comunque parlato nella recensione ma è giusto dire che ha coordinate molto differente da All we love we leave behind che era quasi metalprogcore in certi momenti.
Ruin has come not in fire nor in ashen rain
Only in turgid silence, hangin', flayed.

Try to lull us in before the havoc begins into a dubious state of serenity
Acting all surprised when you're caught in the lie
It's not unlike you

Gliel'ho comprato.

Beautiful Ruin was produced and mixed by Kurt Ballou at his renowned Godcity Studios in Salem, MA and follows Converge’s ninth full-length album, The Dusk In Us, which was released in November of 2017. The album received Best Of accolades from Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Revolver, Metal Hammer, The Independent, Loudwire, and more. Beautiful Ruin is out today from Epitaph / Deathwish Inc. and is available for purchase now from ConvergeCult.com.

Converge will embark on a west coast tour with Neurosis on July 6th; the two-week tour will bring the bands from the Pacific Northwest through California, heading down and ending Texas and will feature support from Amenra and Birds In Row on select dates — a full list of shows can be found below.

Beautiful Ruin, Track Listing:
1. Permanent Blue
2. Churches & Jails
3. Melancholia
4. Beautiful Ruin

Wear Your Wounds are currently recording a new album with engineer Kurt Ballou at God City Studios. This recording marks the first time the live lineup of the band; Jacob Bannon (Converge), Mike McKenzie (The Red Chord, Stomach Earth, Unraveller, etc), Adam McGrath (Cave In, Nomad Stones, etc), Sean Martin (Twitching Tongues, ex-Hatebreed, ex-Kid Cudi), and Chris Maggio (ex-Trap Them, ex-Sleigh Bells, etc) have properly written and recorded material together. Creative contributions from Ben Chisholm (Chelsea Wolfe, White Horse, etc), and Gared O'Donnell (Planes Mistaken for Stars, Hawks and Doves) are also expected. The new album is slated for an early/mid 2019 release on Deathwish with touring to follow.

In 2017 Wear Your Wounds released WYW (their debut double album) and "Arthritic Heart" (a New Noise Magazine single). A live band was then assembled for a number of shows including Roadburn 2017. Later on that year, Dunedevil (an experimental album) was released; a companion piece to Bannon's abstract art book of the same name. In 2018, WearYour Wounds released their Live at the BBC 12" LP at Maida Vale Studio (MV4). That same year, Wear Your Wounds also played select shows on the East Coast and Europe including an appearance at Roadburn 2018, which was also curated by Bannon.

Ancora sorprendente il nuovo Wear Your Wounds. Adatto ai fan di Neurosis anni '00, Swans e Silver Mt. Zion.
