Stavo pensando di identificare alcune località principali come Seattle o New York. Qualche consiglio?

Da RYM
Hi,

I'm writing this mail to all users of RYM to let you know about some major updates coming in the near future.

Sometime next year, we will be releasing a new version of RYM. The site will have a new name, new logo, and hundreds of new features/fixes that users have requested for years. The site's name will change to Sonemic, and I've prepared a FAQ about the change here:

https://sonemic.com/campaign/faq

At the same time, we'll be launching a film site (named Cinemos) and a video game site (named Glitchwave).

You don't have to do anything as part of this update. All of your data: ratings, reviews, lists, posts, messages - will be waiting for you on sonemic.com. Your username/password will be the same. Your rateyourmusic.com bookmarks will work correctly forever, and you will always be able to visit rateyourmusic.com and it will forward to the new site. We will give you plenty of time to use the Sonemic beta to make sure that all your data is intact. You'll be able to give feedback on the site as it progresses, and we promise that this update will represent a real improvement to the site in every way.

The launch is expected in April 2016. For updates on development, you can check the RYM board: https://rateyourmusic.com/boards/board_id=2

Lastly, in case you haven't already seen it, I wanted to let everyone know that we are holding a fundraiser to purchase servers and other things necessary to launch the new sites. The link to the fundraiser is here:

https://www.indiegogo.com/...ve/x/12073271#/

There's only 1 week left in the campaign; it ends December 29. We are very close to our goal (92%!), but we also have additional stretch goals that, if met, would add many new features beyond what was originally planned (this is all explained on the campaign page linked above). We are giving out subscriptions, t-shirts, and other rewards as thanks. If you haven't donated, please consider doing so - even a few dollars will go a long way. If you can't contribute yourself, please consider telling others about the campaign - the more people who know about RYM and Sonemic, the more successful our campaign will be!

Thanks for reading this; please feel free to respond to this PM if you have any questions or comments.

Best regards,
sharifi

///
