Ecco un giochino per provare a vedere insieme quali sono state le migliori canzoni/singoli del decennio che sta finendo. Scelta limitata a 5 canzoni (max) per annata.
Per non fare una cosa troppo caotica ed eterogenea, limitiamo la scelta delle canzoni a quelle che sono uscite anche separatamente, come singoli, EP e/o video. Quindi, per fare un esempio, non si può scegliere che ne so... "scatterbrain" dei Radiohead da Hail to the Thief, perché non è stata singolo. Da quell'album si possono scegliere "there there", "go to sleep", "2+2=5".

Dai, ci provo anch'io, basandomi sui ricordi personali, sulle classifiche di RYM e sull'ispirazione del momento. Nella mia testa "singolo bello" è diverso da "bella canzone in un grande disco", quindi eviterò tanti artisti che amo ma che non hanno fatto singoli di rilievo - mi viene in mente un sacco di roba postqualcosa dei 2000 (Breach, Isis, Neurosis) ma anche i Sigur Ròs di ( ) per dire. Ci sono molti ricordi di gioventù tra le pieghe di queste scelte, lasciando magari fuori qualcosa di più bello e clamoroso ma che al tempo conoscevo meno. Insomma, è una classifica contestualizzata, non assoluta.
