E forse sono anche migliori, pure senza effetto sorpresa. Però mi pare un album che ha davvero belle sonorità.
Le canzoni di altissimo livello, da Ultra in poi, non le hanno più fatte. Ma almeno qui c'è un mood e un suono.

Su rym siamo sotto il 3.00.

Per me il voto giusto sta intorno al 74. I fan hardcore saranno più contenti degli altri, probabilmente.

continua la serie di dischi degni da parte di ultracinquantenni del rock, che negli ultimi 2 anni ci accompagna, spesso meglio delle nuove leve che dovrebbero sostituirli...

Oggi mentre lo ascoltavo in macchina pensavo proprio a questo.
Questa è gente in giro dagli anni Ottanta. Sono passati più di 30 anni, e ancora hanno lo stimolo a tirar fuori qualcosa di degno. E' il loro lavoro, e hanno fior di collaboratori che li aiutano negli arrangiamenti, nella scelta dei suoni, etc. però ecco, ci sono ancora. Nonostante tutto... l'età, i quintali di droga scorsi nelle loro vene... ma sono ancora in pista.

Depeche, Bowie, Swans, Cohen, Deftones, Eno, Nick Cave, Dinosaur JR, Radiohead, Autechre, ma anche Soundgarden dai.....

Se leviamo questi nomi dagli ultimi 2 anni circa....che succede?

aggiungi i Dinosaur Jr., i Blur e i Suede

è anche tutta gente che ha molti soldi per produrre e registrare un disco nelle condizioni che predilige

Ci sono tanti artisti giovani che avessero a disposizione produttori e studi di registrazione importanti farebbero molto meglio
E altri che, Pavement insegnano, più suonano rudimentali e caserecci e più sembrano validi
